Mairead is a Politics and French graduate from the University of Bristol and an alumni in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, one of the world’s leading art schools.
Having previously been at The Times, The Guardian and Sky News, Mairead’s passions are writing about anything and everything. She prefers to write about tech and finance these days having developed a keen interest writing for our very own tech magazine, TechRound.
Mairead grew up in Windsor and so has become well-versed in repeating the line of seeing the Queen driving once, as well as developing an ambivalence towards monarchies.
Now in London, she has before lived in Melbourne, Saint Germain-en-Laye, Venice and Geneva. In a stroke of serendipity, she shared a flat in Switzerland with the only other Mairead she’s ever met.
As a precocious child, she had a pet hedgehog and failed to domesticate a toad who lived outside her house.
